Brand New DISCLAIMER

Discovering new music is fairly easy with the internet. Shame is, most of the times, the biggest sellers are still those who receive the more promotion. The fact is that people are lazy and still rely on the major companies and the mainstream medias which dictate them what they should be listening to.

Brand New Moods goal is to drive people towards new sounds or lesser-know artists. Of course, you can sample the music by downloading the album, it’s only fair that you know what you’re going to buy. Nevertheless, you should keep in mind that the musicians and record companies deserve to be paid for their effort. That is why, at the end of each of Brand New Moods' posts, you’ll find a link aiming you to an online store where you can buy the music at a decent price.

Buying albums, attending to concerts, purchasing merchandising and DVDs is the best way to ensure that, in the future, there’ll still be good music released so support the artists, don’t be just another leecher profiting from the internet.

L'Année du Dragon

I know, it's still pretty much an empty shell but, starting in january, that's where you'll find all the goodies.

I haven't decided yet it if I am going to write this new blog in english or in french but, either way, I'll make sure to please as many people as possible. If I decide to write it in french (something I've been meaning to do for quite some time), I'll include a short description in english.

Anonymous said...: Français ou anglais que ce soit, ça ne va pas éloigner ceux qui chérissent la musique du blog! I speak read and write both (l'anglais cependant étant plus facile pour moi) mais la musique is universal, a smile everybody does in the same language (D. Crosby, Wooden Ships).
